SiteSeed vs. RankPill

SiteSeed vs. RankPill: which fits the work?

SiteSeed and RankPill both read the site you already run, pick keywords, write an article a day and publish it for you. SiteSeed removes a sentence that states a figure, a source or a name neither its research nor the product's own page could confirm, refreshes its own articles that slip, checks every week whether Perplexity cites you, and starts free. RankPill adds an opt-in backlink exchange and monthly site audits on its one $99/month plan, and has a Reddit marketing tool.

Best for

SiteSeed starts free and then costs $29/month for 30 researched articles on one site, where RankPill's one plan is $99/month for the same 30. RankPill suits a business that wants a backlink exchange, site audits and Reddit marketing alongside the articles.

Pricing context

SiteSeed starts free, Starter is $29/month for 30 articles on one site, and Pro is $79/month for 90 articles across 3 sites. RankPill has one plan, Business, for one website: $99/month, $267 every 3 months or $990/year, for 30 articles a month and 30 backlink credits. New customers start with a 3-day trial for $1. Its 90-day money-back guarantee has conditions: it does not apply if Search Console clicks, impressions or Domain Rating rose, and a refund means removing the articles it wrote.

Best for

Founders and small teams publishing articles built to rank and be cited on their own site, and agencies running client sites.

Business owners with no SEO background who want daily articles and backlinks for one website.

Getting started

Free plan (3 articles a month), then $29/month for 30 articles

A 3-day trial for $1, then $99/month ($990 a year) for 30 articles

Planning around your site

Reads your existing website to draft a brief, then a calendar on Autopilot or by hand.

Reads your existing pages to learn your voice and topics, then a 90-day content plan.

Fact checking

Sources cited in every article. A sentence that states a figure, a source or a name its research could not confirm is removed before the article is saved, unless the product's own page states it, and every removal is listed on the article.

Facts, stats and quotes cited inline, and it says it verifies facts against the cited sources. Articles can land as drafts first.

Finding the next keywords

A keyword backlog under each topic, refilled from web research and from the searches Search Console already shows your site for. One keyword per article.

Search volume and difficulty beside every keyword, competitor sites crawled for their topics, and 100+ keywords researched and updated monthly.

After publishing

Reads Google Search Console every week and proposes a refresh for its own articles that slip or sit just off page one, or plans it by itself once you switch that on. Same address, with the last 3 versions kept to restore.

Monthly site audits with a health score, and new articles linked from relevant existing pages as they publish. No refresh of published articles is listed.

Topic structure

Articles are grouped under a topic. Each links to the topic's main page, and the main page links back once you let SiteSeed update live articles.

Keywords grouped into topical clusters at onboarding, for a pillar page and supporting articles, with 3 to 5 internal links in each article.

More sites

$79/month for 3 sites and 90 articles

The plan covers one website. Other websites carry their own fee, not shown on its pricing page

Reporting

A report link per site to share: what published and what the AI citation checks found.

No client reports listed on its plan.

Search and AI visibility

Keyword-led opening, question headings and internal links, position and clicks per article from Google Search Console, and a weekly Perplexity citation check on every plan.

Articles written for Google and AI chats, with an SEO/GEO score. No AI citation tracking is listed.

Publishing

WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Ghost, Wix, HubSpot and Notion, a webhook to any endpoint (Zapier, Make and n8n included), or copy the finished article.

WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, Wix, Ghost, Notion, Zapier and webhooks, and Framer by manual sync.

Extras

No link exchanges on your domain or your clients'. 150+ languages, including Vietnamese.

An opt-in backlink exchange paid in credits, 40+ languages, Reddit marketing, team members and free SEO tools.

How the workflows differ

SiteSeed starts from your website: paste it, review the brief it drafts, let the calendar run on Autopilot or plan it by hand, and open a report showing what published and whether AI assistants cited it. After that it reads Search Console each week, adds the searches you have no article for, and refreshes the articles that slip. RankPill connects to your site, builds a 90-day plan, publishes an article a day, and, if you opt in, trades links with other customers' sites as each article goes out, with a site audit every month.

  • Start free, or pay $29/month for 30 articles on one site, where RankPill is $99/month after a $1 trial.

  • Refreshes its own articles that slip in Search Console, where RankPill lists no refresh of published articles.
  • Three sites and 90 articles for $79/month, a report link for each, and a weekly Perplexity citation check.

Frequently asked questions

Which is cheaper for one website?
SiteSeed has a free plan with 3 articles a month, and Starter is $29/month for 30 articles on one site. RankPill is $99/month, $267 every 3 months or $990 a year for 30 articles on one website, after a 3-day trial for $1.
Which is cheaper for more than one site?
SiteSeed Pro covers 3 sites and 90 articles for $79/month. RankPill's plan covers one website; it supports more, and its pricing page does not show what each one costs. SiteSeed's plans stop at three sites; beyond that it quotes a custom plan.
What happens after an article is published?
RankPill links each new article from relevant existing pages and audits the site every month; its site lists no refresh of published articles. SiteSeed reads Search Console every week: searches your site shows up for with no article go into the keyword backlog, and its own articles that slip or sit just off page one get a refresh on the calendar, at the same address, with the last 3 versions kept. SiteSeed refreshes on its own only after you switch that on.
Why doesn't SiteSeed include backlinks?
SiteSeed does not run link exchanges on your site or your clients' sites. Google's spam policies count excessive link exchanges as link spam, so SiteSeed keeps to on-site work (research, writing, publishing and citation checks) and leaves link building to your own judgment. RankPill's exchange is opt-in: when it publishes your article it places a partner's link in it, and a partner's site does the same for you.
Does either tool track AI citations?
RankPill writes for AI chats and gives each article an SEO/GEO score; its site lists no tracking of AI citations. SiteSeed checks Perplexity weekly on every plan, per site, with more keywords tracked on bigger plans, and shows the results on the Proof page and in the shareable report, including weeks with no citations.
