Free AI Visibility Checker
Does AI search cite your site? Enter your domain and the questions your customers ask. We put each one to Perplexity and show whether your site is among the sources of the answer, at which place, and who is cited when you are not.
How it works
A real answer, read for its sources. Nothing is estimated.
Enter your domain and a question
Up to 3 questions, written the way a customer would ask an AI assistant.
We ask Perplexity for real
A live, search-grounded answer for each question. We read the sources it cites, in the order it cites them.
See if you are a source, and who is
Whether your site is cited and at which place, the page that earned it, and the sites cited when yours is not.
Not cited? First confirm AI crawlers can reach your pages with the AI crawler checker, then see whether an answer engine can quote them with the retrieval readiness analyzer.
Frequently asked questions
Is the AI visibility checker free?
Yes. You can run 3 checks a day with no account, and 10 a day when you sign in with Google, with up to 3 questions in each. No credit card required. Every question is a paid AI search on our side, so the tool also has a daily total it shares between everyone; on a busy day it asks you to come back tomorrow.
What does AI visibility mean?
Whether AI assistants name your site as a source when they answer the questions your customers ask. An AI answer usually cites a handful of pages. Being one of them is the new first page: it is where the reader clicks if they want more.
Which AI assistants does it check?
Perplexity, and only Perplexity. It is the assistant that shows its sources most plainly, which is what makes a citation measurable. ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews choose their own sources and can differ, so read the result as one real measurement, not as your visibility everywhere.
Why was I cited last week and not today?
AI answers are not fixed. The assistant searches the web again for each answer and can pick different pages for the same question on different days. One check is a snapshot. A trend only shows when the same questions are asked every week, which is what SiteSeed does for a site on every plan.
What should I type as a question?
A full question a customer would ask, like "what is the best shared inbox for a small team?", rather than a bare keyword. Assistants answer questions, and the sources for a question are not the sources for a two-word search.
How do I get cited by AI search?
Nobody outside these companies knows the exact rules, and anyone who promises a result is guessing. What the cited pages have in common is plain: they answer the question directly, state facts with their sources, and are reachable by AI crawlers. Check the last one with the AI crawler checker, and how quotable a page is with the retrieval readiness analyzer.
Does it look at the whole answer or only the sources?
Only the sources. A site can be mentioned by name in an answer without being cited, and this tool does not count that. It reports the pages the assistant linked as its sources, which is the part you can verify yourself.
